Ave and Dustin Bernard along with their families received recognition from Siuslaw Valley Fire Board of Directors for their outstanding job on SVFR’s website and recruitment video. Ave Bernard was quoted as saying ” We were just doing our job”! However the job that they did was above and beyond what the department had expected.
