Wednesday September 17th the Siuslaw Valley Fire Board of Directors recognized the ARES group for their outstanding service to the community. The award was received by Walt Zandi on behalf of Bruce Bjorke. The ARES group is prepared to provide alternative communications during an emergency event until regular communications can be established.
