It’s been busy lately for all your EMS departments in our District. That being the case, WLAD is now storing a backup ambulance (Medic-1) at SVFR Station-1. Placing this vehicle in the fire station saves money by getting it out of storage and makes it readily available for simultaneous emergencies. This is happening more frequently with the rapid growth we are experiencing. This is just another positive example of SVFR and WLAD working together to improve service to our community and protect the people we are sworn to serve.
